Many smart speakers and smart screen devices and phones who have Google Assistant support have the voice match feature where Assistant will recognize your voice and save those search history in your account separately and respond accordingly with your account preferences like your To-Do list, your calendar events, etc.

But now, as 9to5 Google reported, Google rolled out an update to Google search app in Android TVs which will update the Assistant and will give it the ability to recognize voices of different members of the family, until now Assistant will treat all the voices as same and store the search history in the last logged in account.

The Google search app in Android TVs is updated to 4.2.0 from 3.14.2, Google previously released a 4.1.0 update but quickly took it down because of some issues, but both the 4.1.0 version and 4.2.0 version are focused mainly on improving the Google Assistant's performance in Android TVs.

9to5 Google also notes that this will help the Assistant to redirect to the right Netflix or Amazon account when a particular person's voice is recognized, however, Google will give you the option to remove your voice match, "If you decide later that Voice Match isn’t for you, simply remove it from Assistant Settings. To view or delete the audio clips you record during Voice Match setup, go to activity.google.com.”</string>"
