Spotify to no longer feature Political ads from 2020

Some companies are running away from political ads as the Presidential Election is in Next year 2020. Spotify is the new company to do so.
As first reported by AdAge, Spotify will no longer feature political ads on it's platform starting from early 2020, presdential candidate Bernie Sanders and RNS have advertised thier ads on Spotify.

Ads are published on the free version of Spotify where users can listen to the music and podcasts freely with ad-support.

Spotify in a statement told AdAge "At this point in time, we do not yet have the necessary level of robustness in our process, systems and tools to responsibly validate and review this content", the company said "We will reassess this decision as we continue to evolve our capabilities".

Along with Political Ads Spotify also runs Advertisements on Movies and Music which generate more revenue than political Ads. So, this move by the company will not much affect the revenue stream of the company. However, Spotify is not outright banning the political Advertising on its playform they just giving it a break until they have proper technology to review the Ads before they can publish them on the platform but we as of now have no idea on when will Political advertising be published again on Spotify, Currently Spotify is only advertising political Ads in USA.

Meanwhile Twitter completely had put breaks to political Advertising on twitter which was revealed by Twitter CEO Jack in a Tweet, Google did the same by stop pushing personilised poplitical Ads to the users. The United States presidential election was scheduled to be held in November of 2020.
