Since Microsoft introduced Windows 8, Microsoft stuck with square corners for windows and start menu but a recent screenshot posted on Microsoft's Tips and Tricks page shows Windows 10 start menu in rounded corners instead of the current square corners in Windows 10.

There is no official announcement or rumors that said that Microsoft is working on rounded corners for Windows 10 but this pop up posted by Microsoft itself confirms that Microsoft is working to give a design overhaul(can be a subtle change) to Windows 10.

Several previous versions of Windows have rounded corner designs including Windows 7 and Windows Vista but that changed with Windows 8 as Microsoft made very big changes to the look of its operating system from Windows 8.

Last year, Microsoft has proposed to update the default control styles with rounded corners in XAML based apps to make it easier for the developers to customize the apps, the rounded corners on the screenshot are very subtle.

Microsoft will release feature updates to Windows 10 two times a year, once in May and in November, but last year Microsoft didn't make any major changes visually and stuck with fixing bugs and bringing security features to the OS, if that continues this year, we may the rounded corners in Windows 10 in May 2021.
