After testing new features to add to threaded conversations in Twitter, Twitter is finally ready to release the new features which will make it easier for users when participating in a conversation on Twitter, Twitter started testing several features and methods to make it easier for users to identify who they are replying to and who others are replying to in a Twitter conversation, reported by Tech Crunch.

Twitter tested these new features on its newly introduced prototype app, twttr, this app was introduced in the Consumer Electronics Show in 2019 and at CES 2020 Twitter’s head of Conversations,  Suzanne Xie said, "we’re taking all the different branches, all the different parts of the conversation, and we’re making it so it’s all in one global view, this means you can easily understand, and get a pulse of what’s happening in the conversation."

When the new feature is implemented you will see lines that will divide the replies separately so that you will clearly understand who replied to whom and avoid replying to a wrong user because currently all the users who are in a conversation will be tagged together and you have to focus to understand who replied to whom, although this is not a hefty task Twitter want to make it easier to its users.

The feature was clearly demonstrated by Twitter Support below,

Besides this feature Twitter also working on another feature that will place like, Retweet, and reply icons behind a tap for replies, but this is will not be available soon, this feature will be first rolled to few iOS and web users and Twitter will receive feedback regarding their experience with the new features before releasing it to everyone.

The feature of separating tweet replies with lines will be available to iOS and Web users now and will be rolled out to Android users later.
