After the manufacturing delay of certain Apple products in China due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the effects of Apple now seem to visible. Apple sent a notice to its employees working at Apple retail shops that there will be a shortage in replacement iPhones and also a shortage of individual parts, Bloomberg reports.

Apple's partner that manufactures most of its products is Foxconn, which was situated in China, although it was miles away from the main outbreak city Wuhan, it was forced to close its production for a long time and even after they resumed the work, the employees' rate of return was low and they can't fully resume the production at normal pace till now.

Apple talked about this shortage beforehand when they announced that they can't meet the expected revenue in the first quarter of 2020. Apple usually replaces the damaged iPhone's parts with individual spare parts unless the iPhone is damaged beyond repair and that they have to replace it with a replacement iPhone, this is part of the AppleCare+ coverage.

Apple told their technical support staff that there will be a shortage of replacement iPhones for the coming two to four weeks but as an alternative to this shortage, Apple told their retail employees in a memo, to offer mail replacement iPhones to customers and provide loaner devices to ease delays.

Some Apple employees told Bloomberg that they've noticed shortages in individual parts at Apple retail shops, this is one of the visible effects of the outbreak of coronavirus on Apple, we may see more of them in the coming future, Apple customers were also finding it difficult to buy Apple products because of these shortages.
