Because of the new audio tweets on Twitter which was limited to 140 seconds, People can express more since they are no longer obliged to the 280 character limit, and on the other hand, Twitter made sure that audio clips are restricted to 140 seconds keeping platforms unique feature "brevity" intact.
However, not all iOS users can audio tweet right away, Twitter says that the feature will be rolled out to all iOS users over the coming weeks, and there is no information on when the audio tweets will be available on Android and Web platforms.

Rolling out today on iOS, you can now record and Tweet with audio. pic.twitter.com/jezRmh1dkD
If you think that 140 seconds are not enough to express our thoughts, you can keep recording until you're finished and the recording will be divided into a thread of tweets each with 140 seconds of duration. while listening to an audio tweet you can keep scrolling and the audio will continue to play at the button of the feed.
If you're an iOS user and have received the latest update, you can now test out the new audio tweets by going to Twitter and clicking the compose button as usual. There you will see a new icon with wavelengths indicating the audio format, click it and you will see your profile photo on top and a record button at the button, click the record button and start sharing your thoughts in the new audio format.
Twitter said on their blog post that "There’s a lot that can be left unsaid or uninterpreted using text, so we hope voice Tweeting will create a more human experience for listeners and storytellers alike. Whether it’s #storytime about your encounter with wild geese in your neighborhood, a journalist sharing breaking news, or a first-hand account from a protest, we hope voice Tweeting gives you the ability to share your perspectives quickly and easily with your voice."
However, Tech Crunch noted that this may make it hard and time-consuming for Twitter to control abuse on the platform as they said " One thing that’s certainly an open question is how audio tweets will add to Twitter’s abuse problem. Twitter has plenty of challenges when it comes to flagging harassment among text-only tweets, which are much easier to auto-flag with machine learning tools. Decoding abuse in audio snippets is a much taller order for these systems. Furthermore, scrubbing through content that’s been reported manually is going to be more time-consuming for content moderators."
