Microsoft Teams is a group of services that Bussiness around the world use to communicate with each other on a project or hold a conference call with clients or Bussiness partners, Teams is industry-leading in what it does and competes with Slack which is a similar service to Teams.

As Teams completed its third year, Microsoft is making some changes to the Teams and added new features. Businesses need services like Teams and Slack more than anything now as they have to work from home and cannot travel on business purposes. The newly added features include Noice cancellation, reported by PC World.

Noise cancellation will reduce any background noise during a conference call which can be very annoying, the example Microsoft showed for background noise is a participant crinkling a bag of chips, Teams can also blur the background of the conference and add its own custom background.

Another feature added by Microsoft to the Teams can detect a member raising a hand and shows a hand raising icon on the screen to let others know that this person wants to talk, another feature "popping it out" will enable the option to separate the chat window into its own.

Microsoft also gives the new option to chat in conditions like low-bandwidth connection or no internet at all, but there's no demonstration by Microsoft on how it will work. Microsoft will add support for Teams on RealWear headsets, which will be helpful for support staff to take a look at what the maintenance workers are seeing. In addition to these features on the occasion of the third birthday of Teams, Microsoft also announced Microsoft 365 Business Voice, a voice-first Teams system for small businesses.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in a shared video with reporters,
“As you know we’re using Teams each day, and it’s how I stay connected, it’s so easy to...stay focused on the documents you’re collaborating on, conduct these calls and meetings. I’ve been living pretty much the last couple of weeks on Teams and chat.”
