Almost every details and every spec about Samsung's new line up of Flagship phones were leaked so far, not only the specs but also the photos and videos of the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy S20 series were leaked, Samsung's giving a good competition to Google on whose phones were leaked the most.
After the video of Galaxy Z Flip was leaked online, It's like there's nothing else that there is to surprise when we see the photo revealed on the stage of Samsung Unpacked Event which will happen tomorrow which is Feb 11th, but Samsung just revealed the entire Galaxy Z Flip before the unveiling Event in an Ad during Oscars.
The Ad was about the Unpacked Event, This is surely a surprising move by the company because when someone is making new tech product like a folding phone, they would want to keep it a secret and surprise everyone on the day of the release but maybe Samsung did this because the phone was already leaked so why not capitalize on it to roll some eye balls towards the Unpacked Event where they will reveal other Samsung Phones like Galaxy S20 series and some other Galaxy accessories.
Samsung just showed off the entire Z Flip during its Oscars ad. Small print says screen crease is normal, heh pic.twitter.com/uBesJ0FonT— nilay patel (@reckless) February 10, 2020
In the video, we can see that Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is folded in half during a simulated video call where the top half is for video calling and bottom one is for other call options like speaker, end call etc. It looks like a pocket sized laptop when it was bent in half in the video.
It also seems like that when folded in half any particular app splits into two parts for example when playing music in Spotify the album art will be on top and the music controls are at the bottom, same thing happens in the camera app. In the Ad a small text in bottom right corner states "You may notice a crease at the center of the main screen, which is a natural characteristic of the screen."
Samsung will officially reveal the Galaxy Z Flip on Feb 11th at Samsung Event, you can watch the live event on the official website of Samsung, we'll cover what happened at the event.
