Sony announces the postponement of PS5 event amid ongoing protests

Sony has scheduled an event on June 4th, this press conference was supposed to happen at E3 but E3 was canceled long back because of the coronavirus situation, the press conference by Sony which was supposed to happen on June 4th was now canceled because of everything that was happening in the US right now.

In this event, Sony was rumored to reveal the lineup of PS5 games and its exclusives, nothing else was expected to be announced about the PS5 because Sony was planning to save the full details about their next-gen PlayStation for the upcoming press events that Sony plans to hold in the coming weeks and months.


Sony has released the statement on Twitter announcing the postponement of the PS5 event saying that they know that fans are excited about the PS5 games but this is not the right time. similar to Sony, Google also canceled its event in which they wanted to discuss the new Android 11, this event was canceled for the same reason.




Tech or any other events scheduled to happen in these two weeks are likely to be postponed due to the protests in the US, Sony will stick to its original plans in releasing their new PlayStation during the holiday season of this year, its major competitor Xbox Series X was also scheduled to release at the same time.

So, Sony and Microsoft will be quick in unrevealing the details of their new Consoles to the fans as the release date closes in, Microsoft will also have a lot to reveal about the Xbox Series X, this year will be a busy and exciting year for console gamers.
