June is typically the month that the whole gaming industry comes together and gaming fans all around the world will get updates of the new gaming consoles, new video game releases, etc. This all happens at E3, the biggest gaming conference of the year, but like many other press conferences and tech events, E3 was also canceled due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

So, gaming companies that would usually hold their press conferences at E3 every year are looking for alternatives and Sony was said to be in plans to hold a press conference in the first week of June, most probably on June 3rd according to the persons familiar with the matter but also said that the plans are in flux and can change anytime, reported by Bloomberg.

So far the amount of information about Sony's next-gen console is tiny and Sony was not looking to reveal much on their next press conference either, according to the source close to the company, Sony was looking forward to holding several press conferences like this in coming months where it will reveal details about PS5 one by one.

Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said that they "will soon be announcing a strong lineup of PS5 games" so we may get to know about the PS5 games that will be released along with PS5 and its exclusives in this press conference, fans are waiting to get to know about the PS5 lineup and they will surely be excited about this press conference.

The PS5 was originally planned to be released during the holiday season of this year and Sony was planning to stick to its original plans despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Bloomberg notes that in early April Sony released the look of the PS5 controller to the public in the fear of leaks
