Google usually releases a budget version of its flagship Pixel phones every year, last year's budget device Pixel 3a is a success for the company, but that success was not carried by their new flagships Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL as the expectations were high because of the success of Pixel 3a and 3a Xl. The main selling point of the Pixel phones is their Software and the Camera quality.

Pixel 3a has both of them at a mid-range price. But when it came to Pixel 4  and its XL version, the improvements are underwhelming. After the release of Pixel 4 and 4 XL, Google is preparing for the release Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a Xl, 9 to 5 Google reports.

The photos Pixel 4a were leaked by Tech Droider(@techdroider) on Twitter, the photos reveal a plastic back body of Pixel 4a, google actually separates the back of their Pixel phones with two different colors and uses separate material, but in this leaked pic, the back of Pixel 4a seems to have a single, same plastic body.

In the pic, at the bottom back of the leaked Pixel 4a, the logo is not of Google's, this is because, as 9to5 Google notes, during the development process, Google uses alternate characters, this also explains the characters above the fingerprint sensor.

We can also see the color(White) of the power button is different, following the color scheme of previous Pixel devices. We can also look at the front of the camera in one of the leaked pics, Google choose Hole-punch display instead of a notch display, just like Google choose to have bezels for Pixel 4 instead of the big ugly notch in Pixel 3, and it also seems to have a headphone jack.
