iPhone's full-fledged production won't start until the 2nd quarter of 2020.

As it's major production situated in China, Apple become the most affected company by the outbreak of coronavirus, Apple's plans to mass-produce iPhone SE 2 in February was disrupted, however, that won't stop them from announcing their low-budget iPhone later this March, it was rumored that Apple will reveal it's iPhone SE 2 in the March event.

The details of the rumored March event were not surfaced yet, but usually, Apple holds an event in March almost every year, last year they discussed their new line-up of services in the March event, Mac Rumors reported a research note from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in which it was said that it will take much more time for Apple to fully start producing iPhones.

Recently Apple announced that their 1st quarter earnings will be affected by coronavirus and the revenue will not meet the expectations in an announcement made for investors on their official website, later that, it was reported that iPhone 12's production will be delayed because of the outbreak of coronavirus.

‌iPhone‌ camera lens was supposed to be shipped by supplier Genius Electronic Optical, but the shipments were dropped over the past month, at least a month of the lens inventory were remaining as Ming-Chi Kuo predicts, Kuo predicted that all of the 5G iPhones were still on track to launch in the fall of 2020.

Coronavirus has a big impact on the tech industry, many of the tech events and conferences were either canceled or postponed, employees were restricted from traveling to other countries, production was halted in countries that were most affected by the coronavirus, it cannot be predicted how much more damage tech companies will take because of the recent epidemic.
