Reuters reports that Apple will have to face problems again in producing another iPhone, the production of iPhone 12 may get delayed because of the travel restrictions applied to prevent the further spread of Covid-19, Apple executives travel to China during this time of the year to finalize the process of flagship iPhone production.

But this year due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Apple executive couldn't travel to China because United Airlines, which Apple has being a major customer to, has declared that it was going to cancel all flights to China until the end of April, Foxconn is the manufacturing company that produces most of the Apple products.

But resuming production at Foxconn after the Lunar holiday was delayed due to the outbreak of the virus, one of the former employees at Foxconn said, "They probably have one assembly line they’re trying things out on, Are Apple’s engineers with the Foxconn engineers? If they are, they’re probably making progress. But if they’re not, if they’re quarantined, that could be bad.”

Two former employees told Reuters that, Main production Kickoffs in summer but now Apple just irons out assembly processes with Foxconn. Apple limited its employees' visits to China to“business-critical”  situations only, this delay in production may not affect the release date of iPhone 12, as Apple was rumored to announce iPhone SE2 late March even though the production was disrupted.

However, there has being a shortage of Apple products all over the world since most of the Apple products were made in China especially at the Foxconn facility.
