Onsite repairs are only available in selected cities

MacRumors found an additional option in Apple support site which offers Onsite device repair through the Apple authorized service provider Go Tech Services, Through this option users can make an appointment with Go Tech Services to visit your house or office to repair your Apple device.

However there are some exceptions, Not all kinds repairs will be fixed at your place, for example MacRumors  choose the service for a broken iPhone screen but they couldn't find the service when looked for a Battery repair, and also this Onsite device repair option is only available in limited cities.

The cities where the onsite repair option is available are San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Dallas and Chicago. When you try to avail this option, Apple will notify you that an additional onsite visit fee will be charged along with the general repair cost the service provider will charge, but there is no detail on how much will charged under the 'Onsite repair fee.'

Apple will redirect you to the Service provider's official website where you can book a appointment with them and MacRumors notes that there is no mention about the details on Additional Onsite repair cost even after you pick a date and time for the appointment on the service provider's website.

Apple offered onsite repairs to it's enterprise customers, but now general customers can choose to have their Apple devices repaired at their own place, Apple might make the onsite repair option available in all the cities when other service providers offer at home repair to Apple customers like Go Tech Services.
