Amid rising coronavirus concerns Game Developer conference was postponed to Summer, however, a particular date for when the show will happen during summer was not given by the organizers yet, unlike other shows or conferences, which were canceled due to coronavirus, Game developers Conference was not canceled but was just postponed.
Game Developer Conferences have released this news on their official website, they say that "After close consultation with our partners in the game development industry and community around the world, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Game Developers Conference this March."
The organizers were upset that they spent the past year working with advisory boards, speakers, exhibitors, and event partners to conduct the show and finally not able to host the attendees on time and have to postpone the event to summer.
The organizers say that they fully intend to organize the show later this year in summer, and are working with partners to come to a conclusion about the details about the happening of the show in summer and they will share the details about the event in the coming weeks once the plans are finalized.
Game Developers Conference is an event where the people and companies of the video game industry come together to exchange ideas, solve problems, and shape the future of the industry across five days of education, inspiration, and networking. Attendees include programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, and business leaders.
