While Assistant can be helpful to get a answer to a question or play your favorite music, Assistant works in many other ways, it reminds you of events, flight times, bill dues. you can choose to receive these reminders from Assistant or not by simply toggling 'Get Assistant emails' in Assistant settings.

But now Google is testing new expanded settings in Assistant which will let you take full control of what notification you receive from your Assistant in your phone, Google rolled out these expanded settings in Assistant to some users, but you can't choose to participate in the beta by your own, Android Police reports.

Previously these settings were in Google App's notification settings but now the settings were moved straight to Assistant settings, where the previous email notification setting is still present but the new settings to choose what mobile notifications you receive from the assistant on your phone were added.
